Aerocool XPredator X3 Full-Tower PC Chassis Review

The Aerocool Xpredator X3 had a lot to live up to in my opinion, as with all the Aerocool products we have tested have been simply stunning and offered a unique touch of style with high build quality, great design, rock solid performance and all at a great price point for the feature list. So in my mind, I was always going to compare this to the bigger XPredator, it sports many of the same style features, such as the top fins and the black and orange extreme styling, but at a lower price.
With the Xpredator costing around £100, and being worth every penny of it, the X3 is a full £25 cheaper, which might not be a lot to some people, but its still not a price difference to turn your nose up at and with the X3 offering many of the same features and style points of the more expensive XPredator, it certainly makes the X3 an option worth considering.
Of course given that this is a bit cheaper, you are loosing a little something, the X3 has two less PCI-E expansion slots and is around 20mm shorter and 20mm narrower. But given how many people actually use 10 expansion slots, even in a multiple GPU system, its rare that you’re going to need that much space. So unless your going for a colossal amount of internal devices, expansion cards and anything else you can think about cramming inside your system, you could do just as well with the X3 and save yourself the extra money to put towards some funky LED chassis lighting and fans.
It seems then that Aerocool has done it again, producing a great chassis that delivers on all its promises and does it all for a price that is price similar to the competition, so while there are other brands on the market doing a similar thing for a similar price, this really comes down to a matter of preference. I personally love the style of all the Aerocool chassis, not just the X3. It has all the features you could need, there is no issue there but I think that its really going to be a style choice for a lot of people as there are few gaming rigs in the world that wouldn’t look fantastic in this chassis.
