As mentioned before, media apps might not be what business users are looking for. But, there is plenty fo them too.
The note station is similar to an office pack or google documents and sheets with many of the same functions. The main difference is, you are in control of your data and it is stored on your server.
There are a bunch of pre-made notes which aren’t just demonstrations. QNAP used it to cover a lot of the functions you’ll find in the NAS and how to use them.
The container station allows you to develop your system in a safe environment. And again, it’s all on your own system.
The setup is just the step shown above and then you can get started. There are some limitation though and those are mainly the available performance. You should keep in mind that this isn’t the biggest CPU on the market.
Data syncronisation is another vital feature. Whether it is between the NAS and your computers, mobile devices, or other NAS’, the QSync Central will handle it.
The more basic business features such as web server, SQL server, and other various servers are included too. These are found in the control panel itself.
All installed apps can be found in the app menu, seen to the left in the shot below. Other overlay features include a quick health view with all the vital information at a single glance.
In case that you want to know more and even try this all out for yourself, then you can try a live demo on QNAP’s website. Just click here and follow the instructions on the page.
