Having launched on April 21st way back in 2023, it looks like you can finally purchase the game on Steam after a year’s wait, as the Epic Games Store exclusivity has come to an end. Dead Island 2 has already sold millions of copies on PC and console, so the deal has clearly worked out well enough for the developers at Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver, with many PC gamers being Gaben loyalists, it’s likely they’ll see a heck of a lot more sales following today’s Steam launch.
A deadly virus is spreading across Los Angeles, turning its inhabitants into zombies. Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, uncover the truth behind the outbreak and discover who – or what – you are. Survive, evolve and become the ultimate Zombie Slayer.
“Players can explore an iconic, gore-drenched Los Angeles, flooded with a zombie infection, while meeting larger-than-life characters and slaying countless foes in exquisitely bloody detail.” says the game’s developers.
As well as the full game on Steam, users will be able to purchase all the currently released DLCs – Haus and SoLA – as well as weapon packs, additional character cosmetics and the expansion pass. For more details, hit up the Steam page here! Act fast though, it’s 50% off for just one week, and that’s a deal that’s too good to miss out on.
