AIB Pricing for AMD Radeon RX 9070 & XT Appears on MicroCenter

The information for the new AMD cards is coming thick and fast today, as we’re less than a week away from the publication of reviews and the cards launching to the wider public, I guess that is to be expected. Earlier today, AMD officially unveiled the new cards to the public at their event in China, as well as their prices.

Of course, revealing them in China, all the cards were priced in RMB, so we had to do some conversion on the prices. However, thanks to MicroCenter (via VideoCardz), we can now see the price of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 in USD.

While there’s still some chance these prices are not final, we can see the cards do indeed start at $649 for the ASRock AMD Radeon RX 9070 CL Triple Fan 16GB GDDR6, which is to say this is basically a reference card. Moving up to $699.99 for their XT SL edition.

AMD Radeon RX 9070 & XT

The one I’m most interested in is the Sapphire Technology RX 9070 XT Pulse Triple Fan, whenever I buy AMD I tend to buy Sapphire cards, and at $899.99 it’s not the cheapest, but it will be interesting to see how that one performs compared to the cheaper 9070 XT Swift from XTX priced at just $729.99.

Of course, the sky is the limit there, as the PowerColor and ASUS cards are listed at over $1000, because, of course they are. I’m not sure another $200 on top of the Sapphire card is going to offer all that much in terms of gains, but I guess we’ll have to wait for reviews.

Absolutely! To provide the most accurate conversion, I’ll use a current exchange rate. Please keep in mind that exchange rates fluctuate, so these are approximate values.

As you can see, there’s a good range of cards here, and while the prices in USD are likely placeholders, with AMD giving official pricing, they’re most likely very accurate at this time. I’ve added UK pricing by ways of currency conversion, but of course, differences in tax and tariffs will likely cause some variance there too.
