Akasa Flexstor DiskLink USB 3.0 Adapter Review

A Closer LookOf course, there are also several cables that make up this product. First there is a power supply, which while it is not necessary, they have included it as you are expected to need it for certain drives. We are glad it came with the UK adapter.
By now you are probably already aware that this device uses USB 3.0, and as such we have a USB 3.0 cable (the inside of the connector is blue), which goes to a USB Micro B connector, which is becoming the standard enclosure interface.
Now taking a look at the product itself, you may be surprised to see it is actually fairly small. It is after all just an adapter.
From the back you only see the standard Akasa label.
From this angle we can see that it uses a standard SATA power and data connection so you can easily just plug in any SATA hard drive of any size.
Finally from the other side we see where the USB 3 Micro B connector plugs in as well as the power cable.
