Akasa might not be the most recognisable name in the technology industry, but they’ve forged a good reputation and released a wide range of products including cases, CPU coolers and much more. The company’s latest offering is the Venom LX chassis which employs a horizontally partitioned layout and can accommodate an ATX or E-ATX motherboard. Not only that, the case supports graphics cards up to 370mm in length and CPU coolers with a maximum height of 170mm. On another note, there are two stealth 5.2-inch drive bays, two 3.5-inch bays inside the bottom compartment and three 2.5-inch bays alongside the motherboard tray.
In terms of cooling options, the case incorporates two 240mm x 120mm radiator mounts, one in the front and another in the top as well as a 120mm rear exhaust. The standard model utilises an opaque side-panel while other variants offer either a clear or tinted finish. The case measures a total of 520mm x 445mm x 200mm and weighs 4.8Kg. Connectivity-wise, the product has three USB 3.0 ports and the traditional audio jacks. Unfortunately, Akasa didn’t reveal any pricing information but I’m expecting the case to remain extremely affordable. Overall, it’s a decent package and another good addition to Akasa’s product library.
