As if Creative Assembly’s 2015 first-person survival horror Alien: Isolation wasn’t terrifying enough, it can now be played in virtual reality. MotherVR is an unofficial Alpha mod for Alien: Isolation, developed by Nibre.
MotherVR is in Alpha, and hence is work-in-progress. Accordingly, Nibre is continuing to work on the mod. If you can’t wait for a final release, or just want a sample of Isolation in VR, MotherVR is available here. Installing the mod couldn’t be easier. In fact, all it really requires is copying a .dll file (more details below). However, MotherVR only works on Oculus Rift. Still, Nibre promises Vive support soon.
