Almost 50000 Sign Red Dead Redemption PC Petition

The news that Rockstar was to release Red Dead Redemption 2 was huge this year, and finally gives many gamers around the world the game they’ve been crying out for. However, there’s still no announcement of a PC release of the game, and that has meant endless comments on social media, as well as petitions to support it.
Now, if you’re like me, you know exactly how Rockstar works. We’ve seen it before with Grand Theft Auto and it’s safe to guess that we’ll see a console only release, only for the enhanced version to hit PC around a year later, giving RockStar a way to double dip our pockets to buy the game twice and make them even more money… they’re not stupid.
“Because Red Dead Redemption is an amazing game and we PC players have been denied from playing it. Please don’t do the same with Red Dead Redemption 2.”
A petition on Change.org is calling for a PC port of RDR2 and while we do think it’ll happen, anything that shows Rockstar that there is a market for it could help push them to do it sooner, and that’s no bad thing as their investors will love having any statistic that helps indicate potential sales on any format.
The petition has just a few thousand to go before it hits its 50000 votes target, and you can hit up the link here to cast your vote too.
Do you think Rockstar will repeat the same process as Grand Theft Auto, and keep the PC release of RDR2 quiet until well after the console release? Or do you think they’ll skip a PC release altogether and only focus on consoles?
