The European company Alpenfohn has recently revealed their new tower-type CPU cooler: the Triglav.
If you haven’t spotted the particularity of this cooler, you may want to look at the heat sink. You will notice that it is connected with 10mm heat pipes, which is massive by today’s standard.
The humongous heat pipes, made of nickel-plated copper, pass through 46 aluminium fins that are arranged in a turbulence-inducing pattern to improve heat dissipation so that the fan speed can be reduced. The latter is a 120mm Hydro Bearing fan featuring a PWM controller, it spins between 800 and 1500 rpm with a noise output of up to 21.4 dBA.
The Alpenfohn Trigav is available at a price of 39.90.
