Alphacool is one of the most respected brands in the water cooling scene and their products are deployed in a wide range of professional builds. To continue on this successful path, the company unveiled a new radiator series specifically designed for silent operation. The Eisbrecher radiators excel alongside fans running at low RPM values without impacting on thermal performance. As you might expect, the radiators core is made entirely of copper while the outer parts are constructed from aluminium. The sides of each radiator feature an attractive honeycomb grille which also acts as an innovative way of distributing fresh air over to the radiator. This technology dubbed A.B.M is intriguing and greatly enhances the performance.
On another note, the radiators have been designed with modding in mind and it’s remarkably easy to remove the aluminium frame and apply your own paint finish. It’s important to remember that the Alphacool Eisbrecher isn’t replacing the current NexXxoS series and is simply an additional product range to Alphacool’s portfolio.
In terms of pricing, the 120mm version will retail for 68.98€, the 240mm has an RRP of 93.99€, and the 360mm variant should cost 118.99€. Overall, I’m really impressed with Alphacool’s new series of radiators and cannot wait to see how they perform compared to the competition.
