Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora 240 Digital RGB AIO Cooler Review

Performance

In terms of how the Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora performs, the short version is that it’s excellent in terms of temperature control, but a little on the noisy side when pushed hard.

As you can see in our charts below, at both stock and overclocked levels, this cooler provides some excellent CPU temperature results and, at stock levels, is actually one of the best designs we’ve seen. There is, however, a pay-off for that, namely, that this is also one of the loudest AIOs we’ve tested. Admittedly, the sound it produces isn’t overly loud, but you will start to notice it as those fans ramp up to their highest speeds.

So, it is a little give and take. On the whole, however, the job of a cooler is to keep the CPU under control and, in under that remit, the Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora is excellent at its job!
