Alphacool Eiswand Mounting Kit and CPU Block
The Eiswand is an all in one solution, in the sense that everything you need is included in the box. However, this is still very much a custom loop cooler, so some assembly is required. In the box, you’ll find all the screws and bolts, Intel and AMDmounting kits, a universal backplate, CPU block, and a big tube of high-performance Alphacool thermal paste; all that is just for the CPU block, there’s more!
Alphacool Eiswand Radiator Fittings and Accessories
This pile of goodies is what you’ll need to hook up the radiator and the CPU block. You’ll find a mains power adaptor, although you can use a Molex from your PSU, anti-kink springs for the tubing, an EU and UK power adaptor, low-voltage adapter for lower noise operation, two quick interconnectors, four screw in barbs, and six meters of black tubing.
Alphacool Eiswand 360mm Radiator, Pump and Reservoir
Here is the business end of the setup, a 360mm full copper radiator, which comes with six Alphacool Eiswand 120mm fans pre-installed in a push/pull configuration. It’s all built up and ready to go here, mounted on a beautiful LED lit base, and there’s a reservoir mounted right in the top too.
The base is nice and wide, and very sturdy. The Eiswand is quite heavy, and even more so once you fill it with liquid, so it’s good to see it has a firm base that will keep it stable should you place it on your floor, desktop, or anywhere for that matter.
Up top, you can see it is finished with a lovely touch of brushed aluminium, and there’s a window on each side and the top so you can easily see the fill level of the reservoir. Is fluid getting a little low? Not to worry, the fill port is right on top, so filling it up couldn’t be easier!
between the fans and the metal exterior, you’ll find a bushy mesh material, which will help keep debris out of the cooler housing and should also muffle some of the noise.
There’s an enormous amount of ventilation on each side, so the maximum airflow should be very impressive.
At the base of the unit, you’ll find the water in/out ports, as well as a Molex connector for power; it really can’t get much simpler than that.
On the base, you’ll find four durable feet, each coated with a grippy piece of rubber, so it’ll stay put on hard floor surfaces, and it’ll also help prevent the Eiswand from scratching your floor/desktop.
