German cooling manufacturer Alphacool is introducing their latest Eisstation series reservoirs. These are highly compact units with integrated pumps at the bottom. They are so compact that they actually fit inside a 3.5-inch drive cage as seen in the photo above.
The Eisstation reservoir is available with three different pump options: D5, DDC and DC-LT. These are mounted at the bottom of the reservoir and not visible as a separate part. Users can also choose to purchase the the reservoir itself without the pump if they already have one.
The top part is clear break-proof Nylon which lights a blue LED when powered on. Nylon is much tougher than Plexiglass, and can even withstand a fall of 1 meter or higher without cracking. It is also equally as resistant to high liquid temperatures without corroding so performance is not a concern.
The Eisstation has a metal plate at the bottom for better stability. It is also easily mountable on many places and includes decoupling screws for lowering the pump noise generated. Users can also choose to mount it using a self-adhesive Velcro fastener.
Aside form the blue LED inside the reservoir, the Alphacool logo also lights up below the ports. There in and out ports to the side with two inlets at the cap. One of which is a G3/8-inch which allows for easier filling during setup.
Price starts at €39.95 with VAT for the Eisstation DC-Ultra Solo reservoir all the way to €89.95 for the Eisstation VPP reservoir with Alphacool Eispumpe VPP755 pump combo. All are available now at Alphacool.com.
