The cooling requirements on this system are actually pretty modest. The 3700X is surprisingly efficient compared to previous Ryzen releases. Plus, the RTX 2060 is a really efficient GPU with a ridiculously over-engineered STRIX cooler, which is the same cooler used on the more powerful high-end chipsets. That means the GPU never got particularly noisy, and the Cooler Master air cooler made easy work of the Ryzen CPU.
Sure, the system isn’t “overclocked” but in my opinion, the new Ryzen CPUs don’t need to be. Their boost features work really well, so long as the CPU isn’t too hot and clearly, it works great just as it is with this cooler.
