AlphaSync Threadripper 3960X RTX 2080 Ti Water Cooled Gaming PC Review

Acoustics & Temperatures
High-performance hardware runs hot, that’s a given, but that’s not the case for this system. Even at full load, we saw the Threadripper CPU max out at just 73c, with an idle of just 37c. That’s really damn impressive given the performance figures we’re getting, and it was already really quiet too. Alphasync has really set this thing up well.
The GPU gets all the airflow it could ask for too, and the max temperatures on that were much lower than you would think. Overall, this means the system didn’t throttle, not even once, nor did it even have to spin the fans up that much either and it’s not like it’s cold in here today; a comfortable 22.5c in the office today.
