Gamescom 2011– Netherlands based retailer Alternate were packing the punches at Gamescom in Cologne by partnering with some of the biggest brands on the planet including MSI, Antec and most importantly AMD.
They included a glass cabinet, showcasing none other than the new AMD FX Bulldozer CPU running its physical eight cores in all its glory. All installed into a stylish Corsair case and sporting the Asus Crosshair V 990FX motherboard, we were keen to see some form of performance figures from this up and coming processor.
Our prayers were answered with a Dirt 3 demo loop that also showed the physical core usage in Windows Task Manager.
Take a look for yourself, as we think it was one of the hottest things on show at Gamescom.
