According to the rumour mill, it seems the GTX 1050Ti’s launch is imminent and should arrive within the next 2 weeks. As expected, the final leaked images have started to emerge which provide an insight into the designs from AIB partners. The most recent revelation shows an ASUS model which employs a dual slot, single fan design and simplistic aesthetic. As you can see, this particular version doesn’t require any kind of power connector and can easily slot into an affordable build. I’m not entirely sure why some graphics card vendors in the past have focused on dual fan designs because it’s not really needed in this performance area.
The picture also contains the packaging for EVGA’s Superclocked GTX 1050Ti and another variant from Zotac. Unfortunately, the products themselves are not displayed but it shouldn’t be too long before more details arrive. Judging from the information so far, it seems AIB partners will be unleashing a wide range of GTX 1050Ti cards and I’m interested to see how the performance compares to the RX 470. The ASUS model on display is clearly a lower-end version and there might eventually be a STRIX card for those who enjoy RGB lighting effects.
