Rumours and leaks for Kindle Unlimited have been doing the rounds all week, but Amazon have finally made an official statement on their new service and what it will include.
Kindle Unlimited will offer up a service like Amazon Prime Streaming, but for eBooks. Over 600,000 books will be available as part of the package and we suspect that number will continue to grow over the years. Not only that, but also audio books from Audible will be included in the deal. One very cool features is the inclusion of Whispersync for Voice. This allows you to move from reading to listening without losing your place in the book!
The service appears to be unlimited and that you can have as many books in your library as you wish just by clicking the “Read for Free” button.
The service will set you back $10 a month and unfortunately won’t be made part of the Prime subscription, which already allows for “borrowing” of one free eBook at a time.
