Amazon Prime Offers Battlefield 1 & Battlefield V For Free (on PC)

With the weekend fast approaching, you might already be putting some thought into what you might be spending your time doing in terms of gaming. Well, if you’re in the market for a freebie, then you’re going to want to check this out as following a new promotion launched by Amazon Prime, those who currently subscribe to their service will be able to grab themselves a free copy of Battlefield 1 with Battlefield V also set to join the fray in the very near future!

Amazon Prime Gaming – Battlefield Giveaway!

At the time of writing, Amazon currently has Battlefield 1 available to claim and own forever on PC. All you need is a Prime account, and by checking out their gaming website, you should be able to claim your copy which you can then activate via Origin. While it is only currently Battlefield 1, it is already confirmed that you’ll also be able to grab Battlefield V on August 2nd.

  • Battlefield 1
    Available today through August 4
Takes players across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight through immersive battles. From tight urban fights in a besieged French city, to big open spaces in the Italian Alps and frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia, prime members can discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign. In a true multiplayer sandbox experience, take to the skies and engage in high-octane dogfights through treacherous landscapes, or have a battleship obliterating the coast from the sea, and engage in some of the biggest battles ever seen as empires clash for supremacy.
  • Battlefield V
Available August 2 through October 1
Delivers the most immersive gameplay of the franchise in a sandbox environment that takes players back in time to the battles of World War 2, allowing players to feel the force of the fight and truly shape the war as the war shapes them. Players’ soldiers can now tow stationary weapons, build fortifications and repair war-torn structures to turn the battlefield to the player’s advantage. Whether dragging a squad mate to safety or shooting a grenade out of the sky, players will forge a deeper connection to the ever-evolving world around them and achieve victory against the toughest odds. With the freedom to adapt and evolve the battlefield in new and unseen ways, the battlefield will never be the same.

Where Can I Learn More?

Admittedly, neither of these titles were the most exceptionally well received from the Battlefield franchise, but free is free, and you can’t argue with that! – One does wonder, however, if Amazon has only announced this to deflect some of the attention away from accusations that an upcoming in-house gaming release of theirs apparently bricks Nvidia 30XX graphics cards.

If you do, however, want to learn more about this promotion and maybe grab your copy of Battlefield 1 now in anticipation of the upcoming Battlefield V giveaway, you can check out the official Amazon Prime Gaming website via the link here!
