Amazon Promises Huge Sale to Prime Members on July 15th

Amazon has launched its latest incentive to lure customers into the Prime service and now offering the subscription at a reduced cost of £59 for a limited period. Current member benefits include unlimited One-Day Delivery, instant access to movies and TV shows and secure unrestricted photo storage. While this seems like excellent value, please remember the Prime Instant Video service is fairly weak in comparison to Netflix.

To make this offer more appetizing, Amazon will be slashing prices on July 15th with more discounts than 2014’s Black Friday extravaganza. Prime members are able to take advantage of lower prices across a wide array of categories including electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more!

Additionally, Amazon is holding a photograph competition and rewarding the winner a $10,000 gift card. The process is extremely simple and all you have to do is take a photo of your happiest moment. One winner will be selected from Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, the United Kingdom and the USA. Entrants can only use one photo per Prime account and no additional entries are acquired through social media sharing.

New deals commence at midnight BST and continue throughout the day as often as every ten minutes. Luckily, if you don’t want the pay the Prime fee, just create a new account and set up a 30 day trial. Make sure you disable the auto-renew function or you will be charged the full £79 after 30 days. Hopefully, the deals in the UK will be more substantial than they were during Black Friday and have a larger stock allocation. In the past, Lightning deals could sell their entire stock within 60 seconds and I hope this doesn’t leave people disappointed.

Are you an Amazon Prime member? Do you feel it’s worth the yearly cost?
