In most countries Amazon will deliver every day of the week except Sunday, however, in the USA that’s about to change. Amazon.com is starting Sunday deliveries for two metropolitan areas in the USA: Los Angeles and New York.
Starting from this week if Amazon Prime subscribers living in the New York and Los Angeles metropolitan areas order something from Amazon.com as late as Friday, they will receive it that same week on the Sunday. Of course the order has to qualify for Amazon Prime delivery, if sold by a third party seller and not fulfilled by Amazon you wouldn’t be eligible for that Sunday delivery.
Amazon.com will expand its Sunday delivery program across the USA next year with Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and Phoenix all on the list to get Sunday delivery for Prime subscribers. There’s no mention if this service will be expanded to other countries aside from the USA.
