Amazon is trying to have a go at the tablet market with an more ‘technologically advanced’ version of the Kindle.
Amazon has announced a press event to be hold in New York City on the 28th of September at 9am, which most likely sounds like the unveiling of the tablet itself (although not confirmed).
Even though a name hasn’t been confirmed, some are talking about another “Kindle” name, we can only call it the “Amazon tablet” until a name is given by the company itself.
Not much is known about the device, it could rival the iPad, or we hope at least, although the operation system would be Android. TechCrunch has had the chance to be the first one to get hands on experience on the said tablet.
According to the same report, the release date would be late November for a price of around $250.
