AMD graphics card owners, yes, it’s another week, so you know what that means! – Yes, a brand new GPU driver has been released, and the chances are high that it’s likely set to start bothering you to make the update (presuming you haven’t already). While I daresay that this will be nothing more than annoying to many of you, however, if you are planning to pump some hours into Back 4 Blood or The Riftbreaker, then it certainly seems to be worth the effort as game-ready optimisations are ready, waiting, and at your disposal!
AMD Radeon Adrenalin 21.10.2
As part of the official driver update notes, AMD has cited the following support, optimisations, and fixes offered (no need for a coffee this time as the list is quite brief):
Support For:
- Back 4 Blood
- The Riftbreaker
Fixed Issued:
- Driver timeouts or black screens may be experienced while playing Assassin’s Creed® Origins on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 580 Graphics.
- Some users may experience a game freeze when they attempt to launch Dota 2™ using OpenGL®.
- Open Broadcaster Software™ may continue to run in the background after a user ends a recording session and closes the application.
Where Can I Get My Update?
As always, if you already have the AMD Adrenalin Edition app installed on your PC (and we certainly hope you do if you have one of their graphics cards), then a quick check of it should (all going well) prompt you to download and update to this latest driver release. However, if that doesn’t work, you can learn more (and/or manually download it) via the link here!
