AMD 6950XT, 6750XT, & 6650XT Midnight Black Reference GPUs Listed by Retailer!

At some point within the next 10 days, AMD is expected to formally confirm the launch and potential simultaneous release of its widely rumoured (to the point of near confirmation) Radeon 6000 refreshed graphics cards. With models including the 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT, we all know that they’re coming. We’re literally just waiting for the official rubber stamp.
With a release date reportedly set for May 10th, however, it did seem more than a little likely that something would appear this week just to add a little credence to that prior leak. And following a report via Videocardz, we might just have it. – How? Well, a Canadian retailer has posted an advertisement on their website directly citing, with an image, the upcoming release of AMD Radeon 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT reference model graphics cards.
And why is this listing of particular interest? Because it seemingly confirms rumours from last month that these reference model GPUs from AMD will be coming in their highly-attractive ‘Midnight Black’ aesthetic!

At the time of writing, the advertisement listing with the retailer doesn’t actually link anywhere and certainly to no direct product websites. As such, it’s entirely likely, if not probable, that this banner went live sooner than it was supposed to. Well, unless, of course, the retailer made a *cough* ‘accident’ here to drum up a bit of attention (this does happen quite a lot).
As above though, the real key factor in this is that it pretty much confirms that not only are AMD reference models coming for its new 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT graphics cards but that they will feature that gorgeous ‘Midnight Black Edition’ aesthetic that, in my opinion, is one of the most attractive ‘reference’ designs in recent memory (and one that AMD has only, to date, utilised once before in the 6800 XT. – A GPU that was, unfortunately, mostly gobbled up by scalpers due to a rather poorly thought out release!).
Admittedly though, although the 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT do still appear set for release on May 10th, we are still awaiting official news from AMD. – I’m not going to lie though, if these hit the market in both a reasonable supply and price, I might be viewing these reference models with more than a little interest.
What do you think though? – Let us know in the comments!
