In F1 23, we do see an 8 FPS gain when disabling SMT, but at over 300 frames per second, that equates to just 2% and comes in nigh on identical to the PBO and PBO Max figures, so for the sake of the gains you see, it doesn’t seem like the juice is worth the squeeze, at least in this title.
