The big AMD graphics driver update we’ve been eagerly awaiting is finally here! News of these drivers actually broke last week, but today you can actually download the software and reap its rewards.
The latest drivers add support for new image quality enhancement features for games and other media, Virtual Super Resolution, frame pacing improvements, general game-specific performance updates and a whole lot more. One of the biggest changes is VSR, which is set to compete with the Nvidia Dynamic Super Resolution. It allows you to render a game at higher resolutions and down sample it to fit your monitors resolution, helping to improve overall visual quality.
Aside from updates to games like Batman: Arkham Origins, Bioshock Infinite, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grid 2, Sniper Elite III and more, you’ll also find Fluid Motion Video, Video Contour Removal, 1080P detail enhancement, a new 4K upscaling algorithm and more.
You can download the drivers from the AMD website here.
