AMD finally breaks its silence and puts the rumours to rest when it said that they will be releasing the next generation graphic card during 2013. The rumour started when Japan’s 4Gamer released an interview with AMD’s product manager Devon Nekechuk where she showed the GPU chart that indicated the Radeon 7000 series will be ‘stable’ through 2013. AMD made it worse when it re-tweeted the article with the topic “2013 GPU roadmap and when @AMDRadeon twitter account told to a follower that “The HD 7000 series will remain our primary focus for quite some time.”
But when PCWorld was speaking to an AMD representative, it was said that 4Gamer interview articled lacked proper context and stated that the company will be clarifying the release of the next gen graphic card for 2013 in a conference call later this week.
