A few days ago, we reported that AMD’s RX Vega 64 outperforms NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 Ti. Indeed, Vega 64 beats out 1080 Ti running forthcoming driving game Forza 7 at 1080p and 1440p. Now, the company itself is bragging about the RX Vega 64’s Forza 7 performance. However, AMD’s self-praise concentrates on 4K performance, the one resolution at which it loses out to the 1080 Ti.

Add breathtaking visuals with Forza Motorsport’s emphasis on awe inspiring 4K 60FPS gameplay and Forza Motorsport® 7 redefines the iconic Forza series.”
The blog reports the following performance at 4K and 1080p, using Radeon Software 17.9.3:
What AMD Didn’t Mention
Presumably, to avoid a conflict with its major rival, AMD left out some key performance information. As we reported, RX Vega 64 outperforms the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti by up to 23% in tests by CompterBase.de. Specifically, the RX Vega 64 performs superbly at 1080p and 1440p running Forza 7, while the GTX 1080 Ti flags behind. However, the 1080 Ti is the top performing card at 4K.
