PCMark 7 loves x86 CPU performance and barely touches the integrated GPUs so it isn’t surprising that the two Haswell CPUs shoot off into the distance. The Kaveri parts actually fall slightly behind Richland at the higher end but as usual the A8-7600 drastically improves on the A8-6500T delivering impressive results.

PCMark 8 offers support for compute standards like OpenCL so we ran it with OpenCL to see how much difference a strong iGPU makes. As you can see AMD’s APUs all build a large lead over Intel’s Haswell parts but the gains between Richland and Kaveri are relatively small except again in that 45W ballpark where the A8-7600 really gains strongly compared to the A8-6500T.
