AMD Llano FM1 pictured

AMD announced that they would be shipping Llano APU’s to their OEM partners last week, but nothing was heard of in the form of a retail product.
It seems that more news has come out today showcasing some pictures of the competition to Sandybridge. With Ivybridge set to take the market by storm, have AMD made the right decision to hold back with Llano?
AMD’s new socket is called FM1 and features a similar design to AM3 and other AMD based systems of the past.
No pin count as of yet and no performance indications but the CPU-Z screenshot clearly shows us a quad-core 2.4GHz processor with 1Mb of L2 cache.
For those not in the know, Llano will feature a processor and DirectX 11 based AMD Radeon HD 6000 series graphics core on one chip much similar to AMD Fusion of which you can find performance based reviews in our motherboards section.
For now, enjoy the pictures and watch this space as more news comes your way.
