Just a few weeks separate us from the launch of AMD’s new Llano mobile fusion processors but already more information has been leaked through the website donanimhaber.
The information suggests that the top of the range mobile processor the Fusion A8-3530MX will be a quad core 1.9GHz processor (2.6GHz with turbo mode) featuring inbuilt HD 6620G graphics. This processor is built on the new 32nm technology and with the APU fusion which allows it to combine the cpu and graphics into one chip. The processor will also have a TDP of around 45W but given the functionality of the processors it is likely that during the majority of operation time it will run much lower than that at around 20W.
Also worth noting is the fact that these new CPU’s can now support DDR3 1600mhz RAM along with DDR3 1333mhz and DDR3 1066mhz. The processor will come either with the A70 or A60 chipset, donanimhaber reports that the A70 chipset will have native USB 3.0 support while the A60 will not and only suppport USB 2.0.
The HD 6620G graphics core contains 400 shaders clocked at a speed of 444mhz. The memory bus interface on the graphics core is a 128bit width.
