AMD has officially launched the Radeon RX 7600 with a $269 MSRP, lower than the $299 of upcoming the RTX 4060.

AMD Radeon RX 7600

The Radeon RX 7600 has been released to succeed the previous generation RX 6600 and could look to make a good option against the NVIDIA alternative. This card is based on the RDNA3 architecture with a NAVI 33 Chip featuring 32 Compute units and 2048 cores, a reasonable uplift over the RX 6600 at 28 and 1792 respectively. This card is capable of boosting to speeds of up to 2.66 GHz and is paired up with 8GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus with speeds of 18 Gbps, 4Gbps more than the previous generation. The 8GB of VRAM is ought to ruffle a few feathers in the community as it already has with the RTX 4060 Ti.

This card against its previous generation has gone the opposite direction in terms of power as it features a TDP of 165W compared to 132W, this increase is something we don’t like to see however the card still fits within the specifications of just a single 8-Pin PCIe connector.

Where Can I Learn More?

For 1080p Gaming at $269, this card looks like it could be a solid option for lower-end builds, visit AMD.com for more information.
