AMD Phenom II X4 975 3.60GHz AM3 Processor

Overclocking
This processor runs at a healthy 3.60GHz at stock speeds which is huge leaps and bounds from where AMD were this time last year, but is it ever enough for some people? For some users they will be wanting a bit more from their purchase and readied with a decent cooling setup and components, you can see what this processor can really do.

Just by having a little tweak of the voltage and upping the multiplier, we found that 4.2GHz was easily achievable and Prime 95 stable for a fair few hours. We did push the voltage quite high, but with an ample cooling setup, and eye on the temperatures it was nothing to cause concern about.
