AMD Phenom New world record Overclock

Brazil it would seem have some hidden talents.

More than just having widely known footballers and beautiful women, it appears to have some world record breaking overclockers hidden away in places.

A person known only as rbuass on the popular website xtremesystems.org posted some cpu-z screenshots showing a huge increase on the otherwise standard AMD Phenom II X4 975 Black Edition of 7.13Ghz setting a new world record for any AMD processor.

The Exact clock speed was 7134.31Mhz at a voltage of 1.788V

Although higher clocks have been achieved in the past on ancient old Intel chips it’s nice to see such results on a more modern mainstream processor from the AMD camps.
