AMD is set to launch a bunch of new and fresh processors before the end of this quarter, all taking place in the FX Series, three of which will boast a TDP of 95 W; the FX-4150 quad-core, the FX-6120 hexa-core and the FX-8140 octo-core.
Starting with the FX-4150, it will sport a base clock of 3.9 GHz and 12 MB of cache (4 MB L2 + 8 MB L3). Next up is the FX-6120, with a base clock of 3.5 GHz and 14 MB of cache. As for the FX-8140, clocked at 3.2 GHz and packing 16 MB of cache.
Aside from the TDP of 95 W, the particularity each model share is a turbo speed reaching 4.1GHz.
All three processors feature an AM3+ package and are made using 32 nm process technology.
Pricing remains unknown.
