A Closer LookFrom taking a look at the card you can see that everything is quite small and aimed at users wanting a low profile card with a low power output. The cooler is a slim affair using black plastic and a fair small fan.
As said, the card features a low profile design and only takes up a single expansion slot in your case. The length of the card shouldn’t be a real worry for anyone as the size of it will fit into all form factor cases that accept PCI-Express based graphics cards.
The card has a bright red 50mm branded with the AMD Radeon Graphics logo which sits inside the plastic heatsink casing. The fan is connected to a full copper heatsink with a small fin design that sits over the cards GPU and memory banks. The fan connects into the card in the bottom right.
The back of the card has an X-clamp style bracket to hold the cooling together from this side and also shows some of the exposed memory chips.
For users wanting a slightly lower profile card you can disconnect the VGA port on the card and remove it, thought this would involve using a low profile expansion bracket too, yet as this was a review sample, one was not supplied.
Trying to remain versatile and keeping options open for a variety of systems, there are three different connections on this card. A removable VGA port, DisplayPort and DVI port.
