These past weeks have seen more than a couple of ‘leaks’ as well as some rumours circling around the Radeon HD 7900 series of next-gen GPUs from AMD.
If you’re planning on any update, or have been patiently waiting to see what’s in store, you might want to circle the 9th of January on your calendar as this is going to be the day AMD launches its next-generation high-performance graphics card. This information comes straight from the reliable market source DonanimHaber.
On this day, AMD is expected to reveal at least two new SKUs in the HD 7900 series, most likely to be the HD 7970 and HD 7950. These new arrivals feature brand new design based on the 28nm “Tahiti” silicon and as we’ve recently seen, Tahiti packs a punch with some significant increase over the current models.
Keep your eyes open for the new arrivals.
