AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT to Release on March 18th?

We’ve known for more than a few months now that AMD would be, sooner or later, releasing their new mid-tier Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card. Exactly when, however, has so far proven to be a very mysterious subject. – Following a Twitter post by ‘@cowcotland‘, however, fresh information is now suggesting that this highly-anticipated GPU will officially be hitting shelves in exactly one month!

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT

Although no specific sources of the information have been cited, the claim itself is pretty adamant. The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card will officially be released and hitting retailers on March 18th! – With it coming out a little over two weeks after the recently confirmed February 25th date for the Nvidia 3060 as well, it does seem fairly logical to suggest that in terms of comparative benchmarks, these two graphics cards are going to be slugging it out in the charts!

What Do We Think?

Based on the date provided here, it does make sense based on all the prior rumors and speculation regarding its possible release date. Without anything formal from AMD yet being confirmed, however, we do suggest that you take March 18th with a grain of salt.

Rest assured though, as soon as the sample arrives, we’ll be ready to get this strapped down for some extensive synthetic and gaming benchmarks. So be sure to keep checking our website and social media platforms to find out just how good the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is!
