To some, a box is just a box. However, the unboxing experience can often be quite exciting too. First impressions here are fantastic, with a gorgeous looking and a rather sizeable box on hand. It’s pretty heavy too, and there’s a really style image on the front.
Just a simple AMD logo and a faded view of one of the fans here.
The back is fairly plain, with just some technical stuff in the corner. The UPC is missing, so this may not even be the final retail box.
Lift the lid up, and you’ll see the “Welcome to the Red Team” message.
There’s a lovely top cover protecting the GPU. Here you can see a small bullet point list of what’s featured.
- Uncompromised 4K Gaming
- AMD FidelityFX Optimized
- 16 GB Memory
- PCIe 4.0 Ready
That’s nice and all, but if you got THIS far into a purchase and didn’t know all this, that would be a little concerning.
There’s a foam layer over the GPU too, with a slide-out guide should you need it.
Oh my goodness, there is is, the AMD Radeon RX 5800 XT! It’s wonderfully presented in the box, with the box angled in towards it and plenty of compressible foam ensuring it gets to you in one piece.
