Earlier in the week we heard the news that AMD would be delaying the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT in favour of the RX 7600 XT and now we have received a possible release date for the RX 7600 XT.
This information has been revealed by Moore’s Law Is Dead who has received information from an AIB partner to AMD regarding a rumoured May 25th release date as well as a similar review embargo that the 4070 had, with MSRP model reviews being out a day before on the 24th and non-MSRP reviews being the day of launch. The information also revealed that the card would be benching 11% above the RX 6650 XT whilst consuming 175W and would boost above 2.6GHz with 8 GB of VRAM. Moore’s Law Is Dead also added to this in a further tweet stating that this may not be the 7600 XT but rather a non-XT RX 7600.
Of course whilst Moore’s Law is Dead often has credible sources, we should always take these things with a grain of salt though it will be nice to see a good affordable next-gen GPU on the market, but that’s just hoping for a miracle.
