A Plague Tale: Requiem

Far across the sea, an island calls… Embark on a heartrending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world twisted by supernatural forces. After escaping their devastated homeland, Amicia and Hugo travel far south, to new regions and vibrant cities. There, they attempt to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse. But, when Hugo’s powers reawaken, death and destruction return in a flood of devouring rats. Forced to flee once more, the siblings place their hopes in a prophesized island that may hold the key to saving Hugo.

Discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival. Strike from the shadows or unleash hell, overcoming foes and challenges with a variety of weapons, tools and unearthly powers.

Available now on Steam.

Moving over to our first game and A Plague Tale: Requiem at 1080p already gets things off to a good start with 37% more frames than the 6700 XT and now sitting equally with the 6800 XT, a card that even now is more expensive brand new than the 7700 XT is coming out at. This also puts the RDNA3 card 10% ahead of NVIDIA’s 4060 Ti further showing the terrible prospect that is for the money as the 16GB will perform very similar anyway.

At 1440p, again, the newer card gives us a strong uplift of 41% over the 6700 XT and now again is matched with the 6800 XT and sits not too far behind the RTX 4070 from NVIDIA.

At 4K, the likes of the 6700 XT were pretty much at an unplayable level, though the newer 7700 XT gives hope with 46% more performance, now at 49 FPS, and sitting very close to the performance of the 6800 XT and RTX 4070. Dialing in the settings a little could see some strong performance at 4K in this game.
