In Doom Eternal at 1080p on Ultra Nightmare and we again see some pretty impressive figures at over 400 frames per second, which also is 22% better than what the RDNA2 equivalent scored, though this does mean that the likes of the RTX 4070 sits 12% faster, but for 33% more money, it really isn’t worth it.
At 1440p, we see a slightly larger gain over the 6700 XT of 26%, and with some strong figures, though the 6800 XT and RTX 4070 both sit ahead, but again, not by enough to warrant the extra outlay of cash.
At 4K, we see our smallest gain yet when comparing the 6700 XT and 7700 XT of just 18%, which is still welcomed, don’t get me wrong but when the likes of the RX 6800 is beating it, and can be had for $20 less brand new, it’s not a great look for the newest GPU on the market, though this is only in one game so far.
