AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Features 304W TBP and 2.970 MHz, While RX 9070 Has 220W TBP and 2.520 MHz

We will get all the official details about the new Radeon RX 9070 Series on February 28. However, more information about these new RDNA 4 based graphics cards continues to leak slowly. With the official announcement just a week away and review units likely already with tech reviewers, more data keeps coming in, including power consumption details.
Power Consumption and Clock Speeds

The Radeon RX 9070 XT will have a Total Board Power (TBP) of 304W (thanks VideoCardz), while the Radeon RX 9070 will have a lower TBP of 220W. In addition to these power consumption figures, clock speeds for both models have also leaked. The Radeon RX 9070 XT will reach speeds of 2.970 MHz, just shy of 3 GHz. Meanwhile, the Radeon RX 9070 will be slightly lower at 2.520 MHz. It’s expected that custom, overclocked (OC) versions of these cards will easily surpass these speeds, with the higher-end model possibly reaching above 3 GHz.
Other Specifications and Missing Details
As more details emerge, we also know that these new GPUs will feature a PCIe 5.0 interface and 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM. However, the most important piece of information still missing is the price, which AMD has not confirmed yet. This will be a key factor in competing with NVIDIA’s upcoming models, which are set to launch one day earlier, on March 6.
