Predictably, the card burns coal, despite its 7nm design. AMD have never really got the grips of efficiency, but at least they’re turnings Watts into FPS with this card, so that’s commendable. It’s barely using more power than a VEGA 64, but damn, is it a lot faster!
It’s not exactly cool at 68.7c, but honestly, the temperatures are far better than expected and nothing to complain about.
It is the second loudest card we’ve tested though, albeit on par with the also damn noisy 2080 Ti we tested. If you care about silence, this isn’t the card for you. Although, I think this card deserves to be under a water block and you’ll have a lot to gain by doing so.
