AMD is reportedly preparing to introduce a new processor, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, in early September. This processor is part of AMD’s Zen 4 lineup and will feature the company’s innovative 3D V-Cache technology. This release aims to strengthen AMD’s position in the budget market, offering a more affordable option within the Ryzen 7000 series.
The Ryzen 5 7600X3D is expected to be the most entry-level 3D V-Cache option in AMD’s current lineup. It will likely feature 6 cores and 12 threads, with a total cache of 102 MB, just 2 MB less than the higher-end Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The processor will have a single core complex die with 64 MB of 3D V-Cache stacked on top of 32 MB from the CCD, along with 6 MB of L2 cache.
Pricing for the Ryzen 5 7600X3D is anticipated to be around $249, making it a competitive option for those seeking performance on a budget. This release comes just ahead of the expected launch of the Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs in October, signaling a busy period for AMD.
This processor will join other models in the Ryzen 7000 lineup, providing a variety of options for different performance and budget needs.
