The PC component market has been quite a rollercoaster recently, and prices of some hardware, notably RAM and graphics cards, have seen some hefty price increases. For those wanting to build an affordable entry-level PC, it’s become relatively difficult to get an excellent deal, find all the right hardware, and stay within a tight budget. This is even more true for those who also want to be able to play some PC games.
The Ryzen 3 2200G is an affordable solution, blending a quad-core Ryzen 3 processor, with a fist full of VEGA GPU cores to create what’s basically AMD‘s 2018 take on the APU. I loved the APU range when they launched, for SFF and low-cost systems, their performance was incredible. Of course, I’m hoping to be similarly impressed with this one.
