AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Processor Review

AIDA 64 Memory Bandwidth and Latency

Memory performance and support on X470 and Ryzen Gen 2 are significantly improved. Of course, we’re running 3400 MHz memory here, so that’s why it appears faster than anything else we’ve tested. However, that’s right on the money for how this kit should be performing. Most importantly though, the latency is way down. Ryzen Gen 1 was around 81.5 ns, while the new generation is just 65 ns; that’s a massive improvement from one generation to the next.
