AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Pictured in the Wild!

It’s pretty well established now that with AMD officially launching their Ryzen 7000 processors on August 29th, their subsequent release will happen on September 27th. – With this in mind, therefore, it’s clearly not surprising in the slightest that samples (engineering or otherwise) are probably out in the wild right now and will undoubtedly get more populous in the coming weeks as review CPUs start getting shipped out to media publications.

Following a report via Videocardz, however, we have our first official look at the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X as an image of it (the first of what we suspect will be many over the last 6 weeks) has appeared online!

Sorry for the landscape, but it was shot in portrait and we all know portrait sucks 😀

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X

Now, nothing has been mentioned in terms of specifications, and, put simply, it’s a case of what you see is what you get. – If nothing else though, it’s nice to actually see one of the new Ryzen 7000 CPUs sitting within that beautiful new LGA socket (sorry AMD, but I really hated your PGA designs and am more than a little grateful for this transition!).

Going beyond this point though, this does at least seem to additionally confirm that the Ryzen 7 7700X will form one of four rumoured initial launch processors set to debut on August 29th with the 7600X, 7900X, and 7950X expected to complete the series!

With just under two weeks to go until that launch event, however, as we noted above, expect this to just be the start of a lot of similar leaks and images appearing online!
