The Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition celebrates all the positive feedback, reviews and awards garnered, but it is also a “Thank You” to our fans – new and old – that have made Microsoft Flight Simulator such a phenomenon. Best of all, the Microsoft Flight Simulator Game of the Year Edition will be available as a free update for existing players on PC.

Microsoft Flight Sim shows our biggest uplift moving from the 7700X to the 9700X of just over 13%. This is more inline with what AMD were claiming, and is nice to see, especially in a game that is so CPU intensive. Sadly, it’s still below where you’d expect it to be based on the cost factor alone, though given the fact that it’s the newest product on the market, you will be expected to pay the early adopter tax making it not great value for money right now.
