In Cyberpunk, there really isn’t much to say. In fact, the 7700X actually outperforms the 9700X by a single FPS, though with such a margin, we’d call it identical, and it goes to show that the extra 100MHz boost clock really doesn’t do anything from the new Ryzen 7 in this game, at least on these settings.
Changing the settings slightly by enabling Ray Tracing does have an effect though as the 9700X comes in with 88 frames per second, which is a marginal 6% improvement over its predecessor, though it’s still no match for the likes of the i7 14700K, which funnily enough, is the CPU that AMD were aiming to compete against with this new Zen 5 based chip.
